At Savvy Highlands, we raise steers 100% grass-fed and finished. Currently, I have one steer left, completely processed and packaged.
I charge $8 per pound hanging weight for half and whole steers, and $8.50 per pound hanging for quarters. This steer weighed 600 pounds, whole, hanging. I will list the price breakdown below for bundles. To offset the processing cost of $900.00, there will also be an additional charge of $225.00 per quarter purchased. All steaks were cut thick at 1 1/4 inches to provide the best results for this premium beef.
